goat cures and treat recipes

so i have some recipes for treats, cures ect. so her you go.

scours=

1 quart of water, 2 tablespoons of corn syrup, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1/4 tablespoon baking soda. here's how to prepare it bring 1 quart of water to a boil stir in corn syrup, salt, and baking soda. it should cure scours in 2 to 3 days.

goat milk formula= i actually use this for one of my baby goats she loves it.

1 gallon of whole milk, 1 can of evaporated milk (12 oz.), 1 cup cultured buttermilk, goat nutri drench.

oatmeal molasses cookies (goat treats)=

1 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup shortening, 1 egg, 1/2 cup molasses, 2 cups sifted flour, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 1/2 tablespoons baking soda, 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, 2 cups quick cooking oats.

diarrhea=

1 part biosol and pepto bismol.

pinkeye treatment=

1 part dexamenthazone, 1 part gentamycin, 1 part sterile water.

baby goats

so my doe finally had her kids not just one but 3 she had triplets!!!!! isn't that epic but she had a runt that we had to take into the house and then her mom wont except her so we have to bottle feed her with her moms milk which isn't the best because her mom doesn't like being milked! but oh well blog u ltr!!!!!!

Pet of the week

this week's pet of the week should have a very familiar it's Milton! and he's a Domestic long haired cat. and he's declawed on the front nails and if you don't know what declawed means well here's your answer. declawed= removing claws. his adoption fee is $20.00. remember when you adopt a pet it includes vaciations, microchip and a free vet exam! please adopt a pet!!!!

Does in Labor

so i show goats and we produce our own goats and my doe just started labor! and she will have them soon I'm going to tell you some signs of when you know she's in labor.

1. her heartbeat will go up. hers right now is 20 or more!

2. her nose flares. it expresses her pain.

3. not hungry. she's in to much pain to eat.

4. pupils dialated. it's a show of nervousness and pain.

5. affectionate. i have no idea why.
